About us
We are a registered FIRST ® Lego ® League (FLL) robotics team situated in, Gauteng, South Africa and sponsored by Sci-Bono. All members attend Willowmoore High School and range from grades 8 to 11.
2020 marks 4 years of competing in the FLL.
We compete in the FLL to spark enthusiasm for science and technology within each member in our team. We aim to solve complex tasks in creative ways and come up with innovative solutions to real life problems.
What exactly do we do in FLL?
We compete in various robotics competitions and challenges whereby our team needs to design, build and program an autonomous robot to complete as many missions on the mission board as possible in 2 and a half minutes.
Every year, teams are required to research, create posters, portfolios and presentations on problems and solutions within the given topic.

Qualified and participated at Nationals with teams from all over South Africa

Participated at Provincials, won best robot programming award in Gauteng
Qualified for South African National Championships
Won best core values inspiration award in South Africa
Nominated to present our project research for the global innovation project
Invited to represent South Africa in Rwanda at the Pan-African Robotics Competition in July 2021
